The Post Writing Stage: Finishing

               In post writing, the last stage in the process, you craft the document into a product that effectively guides your reader through your topic. This stage consisting of two stages, as follows:

·        Editing: Editing means to develop a consistent, accurate text. In this step you change the document until it is right. You should check spellings, punctuations, basic grammar, and format of page and accuracy of facts. Words processor can be helpful for this purpose. Several common aids are dictionaries, grammar checkers, and thesauruses. A thesaurus is the collection of group of words that have the same meanings.

·        Producing the document: Producing a document has two dimensions:

Ø  Physical Completion: Physical completion means typing or printing (if you use a computer) the final document

Ø  Psychological Completion: Psychological completion means to attend to your emotions as you near completion and to manage your time properly, as poor drafting is the result of “finishing too soon”.
